Anyone here invest in Bitcoin? XD I splurged a few weeks ago and made a nice profit so far. But I'm having my doubts about the long-term.

IF being a big maybe. IF it hits 20k. Y'all just be careful. I think the whole thing is a scam with only those at the top benefiting.
And a currency is all Bitcoin is: Its worth is determined by the people who buy it. Calling it a scam would be like calling Pound Sterling a scam simply if its value against USD increased several thousand-fold.

I think Ether is more promising in the long run (in terms of security, energy-efficiency and heck, even practical use) but I thought I might as well make some easy money off this Bitcoin bubble while it lasts. I only bought in last week when BTC hit $10k, because I am slow, so I'll probably cash out when it hits $20k.

It's not exactly like every single thing is based on scripts: From what I can tell the idea is to decompose everything in a game into "scenes" (essentially levels I think?) and "game objects", which are more or less analogous to Events. So you still need to place stuff on a map and move things around, but yeah, in terms of interaction between objects, scripting is a necessity.
An engine where you basically need to script everything yourself sounds way too scary for me. Congratulations on making it work for you, Yellow! Hopefully we'll see some of your work in Unity here someday.

I've completed a couple of tutorial games in Unity. I'm still struggling with it because I feel like you have to do scripting for everything and I'm still struggling with getting the hang of that XD;;;;
I'm sure we can expect great things from you in Unity tho! :D Can't wait to see what you make!
Thank you Unity! I'll admit that I have a slightly unfair advantage in the scripting department, as I've been a career programmer for a couple of years now...Practice makes perfect!
